The project involved the construction and installation of two steel structure buildings, comprising an administration building and a production facility for a lead smelting factory. The scope of work included electromechanical installations and the erection and installation of process equipment, carried out under the guidance of Lurgi – Germany.
Lead smelting is the process of extracting pure lead from its ores through heating and chemical reduction. While the smelting operations were beyond our scope, the facility was constructed to accommodate the specialized equipment and high-temperature processes required for efficient lead production. |

The Construction and Installation of the New Fourth Concentration Line is an EPCC Project (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) aimed at enhancing phosphoric acid production efficiency. Successfully executing this project required a comprehensive approach, integrating engineering design, procurement of specialized equipment, construction, installation, erection, and commissioning to ensure seamless functionality.
Phosphoric Acid Concentration Units are essential in the phosphate industry, enabling the concentration of phosphoric acid from 28% to 54% through thermal heating. This process is achieved using a carbon tube heat exchanger, where steam provides the necessary thermal energy to evaporate excess water, increasing the acid’s concentration. To dissipate excess thermal load and recycle process water, the project included the construction and installation of a Forced Draft Cooling Tower consisting of five cells, along with a dedicated pumping system. This cooling system ensures efficient temperature regulation and supports continuous production. The process water circulation system relies on 24-inch GRP pipes, supported by a 100-meter-long pipe rack, facilitating smooth and efficient operation between the Concentration Unit and the Cooling Tower. As an EPCC project, the successful completion of this facility required detailed engineering, procurement of specialized materials and equipment, expert construction and installation, precise mechanical and structural erection, and final commissioning to ensure optimal performance and long-term reliability. |
